SHIPPING Orders for
IN-STOCK items are shipped within 24 hours
unless it is the weekend. Orders placed on Friday/Saturday will ship
out on Monday. Sometimes credit card purchases will take 24 hours to process and
then will be shipped. We use FEDEX/USPS for all of our shipping
methods.
SHIPPING COSTS Shipping costs are calculated by FEDEX
directly. The prices you see on our site are direct quotes from their shipping
calculator. We have no control over these prices. Fedex can cost normally 4-7
dollars for ground/home delivery on most products up to 25-30 dollars for
overnight express. These base prices may
vary depending on weight of products. To determine exact shipping prices, please
add a product to your cart, you will see a shipping estimator with transit times
and costs. Please note that we do not have saturday delivery on any shipping
method. Ordering overnight shipping on a Friday will guarantee your product to
arrive on Monday, not Saturday.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS will normally require some form of verification due to stringent credit
card merchant rules. International orders may require a scan/fax of the
credit card used. We will normally email you if this is required but do
realize this might be necessary.
RETURNS RETURNS must be handled within 14
days of the purchase. Any requests for returns outside of 14 days will
not be honored. We double-check all orders before shipping and also
package all products in very secure mailers. A refund minus shipping
will be issued for all products that are returned. All products that
are returned unused will be charged a 10% restock fee. This fee is for
all processing charges and labor/handling incurred during the initial
shipment. Any modchips that have been installed or opened will forego a 15% restocking fee if they
are tested and work (this also pertains to any replacement chips; if
the product that is being replaced works upon our receipt, there will
be a restock fee). In the case of a product being damaged in shipping,
we need notification within 24 hours of the damage and will request
that the product be returned to us. A replacement product will be sent
free of charge, but shipping charges are not included. All pre-mods
and installations that are received non-functional, we request that
you contact our offices so we may setup a return/repair. We can not,
however compensate for the shipping costs you incur shipping the
products back to us. We strive to provide you the best products and
services possible and the less we have to bother with returns, the
better experience both of us will have.

CUSTOMS/TAXES
All customs, duties, and taxes on any exported item from
modchipman.com will be billed to your account. Any refusal of
duties/tarrifs/taxes/customs charges upon receival of the products will
result in a post-order billing to your account. Modchipman.com will not be
responsible for any duties or customs charges from your country. By
purchasing any products from modchipman.com you agree to accept all the
incurred charges, such as duties, taxes, customs fees. These charges, if
received by us after shipment, will be billed to your account upon
receipt. YOU ARE AUTHORIZING THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES
TO YOUR ACCOUNT FOR DUTIES/TAXES/CUSTOMS FEES BY PURCHASING FROM
MODCHIPMAN.COM.
LIABILITY
It is very important to note that we, modchipman.com, are not
FEDEX or USPS. ALL FEDEX orders include signature confirmation so packages
will arrive at your doostep/mailbox with
a signature required. At this time we offer signature delivery on all our express/ground/home delivery packages. Orders
that we ship from our offices are done via daily pickups by FEDEX and are logged in our system as shipped. Once you have received a tracking #
from modchipman.com, the liability for your package falls into the hands of FEDEX.
Any lost or missing packages by FEDEX should be handled by calling 1800GOFEDEX.
The normal procedure for lost packages is to notify us so that we may file a claim, along with filing a claim
yourself,
hopefully within 4-5 days of the
package not arriving on its estimated delivery time. Once again, modchipman.com
can not be responsible for any lost or missing packages by FEDEX once they have
been shipped by us. This is their responsibility and although these situations
rarely occur, the liability is with them.
